40 Days for Life Vigil Schedule Open for Signups!

Attention one and all -- the 40 Days for Life spring Vigil Schedule is now open for signups -- and it's as easy as 1-2-3!

Here is what you need to do ...


1. Go to www.40daysforlife.com/alexandria and pick one location listed: Duke Street or S. Whiting Street.

2. Click to view online calendar and follow instructions to sign up for hours. For additional details on the Duke Street calendar see below. 

3. Invite your friends to participate!

Duke Street Calendar How-To Details:

1. Register to create your account if you haven't already done so.

2. Click on Spring 2012 Schedule and go to Day One (Feb. 22).

3. Put your mouse over the brown area on the schedule to see what organization/church is listed for that block of time. You can sign up for that hour even if it isn't your organization/church.

4. A red area means there is no one signed up for that hour. A yellow area means one person has signed up. Green means at least 2 people have signed up. We want to have at least two people signed up at all times.

5. Please consider taking at least one hour a week during the campaign.

Additionally, you can register on www.40daysforlife.com to be added to the national email list ( I know, 2 registrations is a little confusing). You will begin to receive updates from the national campaign. The daily updates during the campaign include many inspiring stories from other campaigns around the world. You can always choose later to stop receiving them. Please invite anyone you know to register as well. This is a good way for them to become familiar with the campaign and possibly inspire them to join in as well. 

This campaign is going to be very exciting as we launch our second vigil at S. Whiting Street and continue to build on our past efforts at Duke Street. God has big blessings in store for our community, but he needs our cooperation. Thank you for all your efforts to promote the sanctity of life!

Our Kickoff Rally is this Tuesday at Bishop Ireton High School Cafeteria and starts at 7pm. Help spread the word, and be sure to bring all your family and friends!
