Sidewalk Counseling Session on Sunday

Friends,

As many of you know, DC's abortuaries are among the most active in the country. Each Saturday the foot traffic is unbelievable and there is a small army of hip, inviting deathscort volunteers smilingly ushering in woman after woman. So many of the world's pressures push vulnerable women to "just get rid of it" and abort their child.
Unfortunately there are very few volunteer sidewalk counselors present to counter these lies.

Several participants in the D.C. 40 Days for Life vigil have asked about training to become an effective sidewalk counselor. Dick Retta, a long-time sidewalk counselor in D.C., has agreed to host a sidewalk counseling training session this Sunday, June 26th at 2pm. We will be hosting it at the Neuhaus ( 838 18th St. S, Arlington, VA) -- easy walking distance from both the Pentagon City and Crystal City metro stations on the Yellow and Blue lines.

The reason to sidewalk counsel is not to make a statement, or to protest -- but to love these women and their unborn children. Sidewalk counselors are their last line of defense before they give into the pressure to make a terrible choice they can never undo.

Will you consider stepping outside your comfort zone and becoming a sidewalk counselor?
If so, we hope to see you on Sunday.

What: Sidewalk Counseling Training and Organizing
Where: 838 18th St. S, Arlington, VA
