Day 22: A Witness For the Lord

We have some news from Rosalie, a first-time vigil keeper from St. Lawrence the Martyr church, who was praying around lunch time with two other people.

A lady stopped on her way out of the parking lot and waved them over. She told them that she had just spoken with Dr. Ari's daughter in the course of her dermatology appointment (the offices are connected).

The girl told her yes, "they are required by law to offer all options to patients, including abortion and the 24-hour pill." The lady responded that if this was true, she would stop coming to see them.

The vigil keepers couldn't confirm whether there is a law requiring that all options be offered to patients but they told the lady that the 24-hour pill is indeed a chemical abortion. They thanked her for her testimony, and assured her they would pray for her and Dr. Ari.

Rosalie comments,
How happy we were that she had become a Witness for the Lord inside the place!... Our Prayer Vigil is validated by this lady who had her conscience pricked by our presence there. Plus, now we know the name of one of the abortion doctors there, Ari; we can pray for him by name.
Indeed, we have included Dr. Ari's name on our prayer list along with Dr. Dunkwu, who works at Gynecare Associates. Let us remember them with Christian charity and fervent prayer, that if it be the Lord's Will their hearts might be opened to the beauty and dignity of all human life.
